Club de Fútbol América S.A. de C.V., commonly referred to as simply Club America, is a Mexican professional football club based in Mexico City. Founded in 1916, the team competes in the Liga MX and plays home games at the Estadio Azteca, the largest stadium in all of Latin America. Club America has a long-standing, celebrated rivalry with Guadalajara, Jalisco's Club Deportivo Guadalajara, the only club to never have been relegated to Mexico's second division. The game between the two teams is known as El Súper Clásico.
