About
Maná is a Mexican pop-rock band from Guadalajara Mexico which has enjoyed worldwide recognition since the 1980s. While Maná’s music is typically classified as pop rock, its music also has touches of calypso, reggae and traditional Mexican music. In its debut, the band went by the name Sombrero Verde (meaning “Green Hat” in Spanish) but changed to its new name in 1987.
