The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is a constituent part of the cultural life in Winnipeg. The orchestra's dedication to musical excellence is demonstrated with over 80 concerts every year, including the only North American New Music Festival held by a symphony orchestra. In addition to performing, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's education programs range from nursery school to university level, reaching more than 25,000 students every year.
