Wendy Mathews is an alternative pop singer based in Australia. She had been a part of bands like Models, Rockmelons and Absent Friends during the initial days of her career. She debuted as a solo artist in 1990 with Émigré. She later went on to record award-winning songs like "Token Angels," "The Day You Went Away" and albums like Tales of the city, Beautiful View and Lily. With melodious tracks and sensational vocals, Mathews has amassed a considerable fan base. She also vowed TV audiences when she participated in the celebrity singing competition - It Takes Two and sang as a guest on the grand finale of Dancing with the Stars.
