About
Born in Paris and raised in Ars-en-Re, a small fishing village of the French Atlantic Coast, Violette fell in love with music at a young age. Initially falling in love with French icons like Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf, then discovering luminaries like Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, these names would go on to greatly influence her musical understanding. Now based out of New York City, Violette released her debut album, Falling Strong, in 2014 and the collection of R&B-influenced pop songs helped establish Violette as an interesting voice on the modern international music scene.
