About
Former lead singer of the band Battles, Tyondai Braxton has since moved into solo composition work under his own name. Braxton's debut album Central Market, came out on the venerable Warp Records label, and features Braxton's more orchestral-oriented music. In 2011 Braxton brought some of the music from Central Market to the Wordless Music Orchestra, and BBC Symphony Orchestra, as part of Steve Reich's Reverberations Festival.
