Tony Toni Tone is a R&B group from Oakland, California that was founded in 1988. Though the group reached enormous success with its albums The Revival and Sons of Soul, released in 1990 and 1993 respectively, group tensions reached a breaking point and the band dissolved in 1997. However, in 2003 Tony! Toni! Tone! reformed and has since played a number of shows to the acclaim of its erstwhile fans.
