Thomas F. Wilson, also known as Tom Wilson, is an American actor and comedian. The Philadelphia-native first got into comedy in 1970, at the age of 20. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, he got acquainted with fellow comedians Andrew Dice Clay and Yakov Smirnoff. His breakthrough came in 1985 with the film Back to the Future, in which he essayed the role of Biff Tannen. He went on to star in the film's sequels, as well as in several other movies like April Fool's Day, Action Jackson, Born to be Wild, Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector and Rio, just to name a few. In addition to acting in movies, Wilson also hosts his own podcasts and vlogs on YouTube.
