Despite the name of the band, Meine Kleine Deutsche (My Little German) was formed in Stockholm. The group play punk-inspired pop songs with composure and reserve, using nice vocal harmonies and simple dance beats to get things going. Their style might well be called minimal except for the emotion that gets poured into the vocals especially. Good both for dancing or for a dense zone-out.
