About

Three Days of Rain is a play by American dramatist Richard Greenberg. The Pulitzer Prize-winning drama premiered in 1997 at the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA. Its first act is set in a loft in 1995. It explores the tense relationship between Walker - the son of a deceased architect - and Pip - the son of Walker's father's business partner. The second half shifts to the same attic in the year 1960 and exposes the turbulence in the lives of Ned (Walker's father), Theo (Pip's father) and Lina (Walker's mother). Through the events of the second act, the premises of the first half are revealed to be wildly erroneous. This acclaimed theatrical piece has been staged at major venues all over the world with many big-name artists assuming the roles of the central characters.
