This Must Be the Band

This Must Be the Band is a Talking Head tribute band from Chicago. Formed in 2007, the band came together through Craigslist connections and went on to earn local recognition with an extensive show schedule. This Must Be the Band offers two varieties of shows: the "All-Request Show," which includes audience participation and a degree of improvisations, and a "Stop Making Sense Re-Creation" show, which offers a note-for-note mirror of Talking Heads' famous tunes. The later version has earned the group critical acclaim, particularly for singer Charlie Otto's dead on impersonation of legend David Byrne.
