They're Playing Our Song is a hit Broadway musical with music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager. The story, which is based on the real relationship of Hamlisch and and Sager, follows the unlikely match between an accomplished composer, Vernon, and a quirky lyricist, Sonia. Since its debut in 1978 and its successful national tour in 1979, the hit musical has also been produced for international audiences.
