Based on Henry James' novella of the same name, The Turn of the Screw is an English opera composed by Benjamin Britten with a libretto by Myfanwy Piper. Following the chilling tale of a governess who moves into the mysterious Bly House to look after two children, the story is driven by suspense as the she unravels the history of the old house and the uneasy connection between two ghostly figures and the children she has been hired to care for.
