The Legendary Shack Shakers is a rockabilly band from Paducah, Kentucky that was formed in 1995. The group released its debut album, Hunkerdown, in 1998 and since then has managed to maintain a fairly regular album release cycle. Though the group initially started off with a strong rockabilly backbone, as time has worn on it has incorporated elements of blues, swamp and other obscure Southern gothic musical influences into its sonic foray.
