The Hush Sound

Chicago-based band The Hush Sound is an indie pop quartet founded in 2004. Classically trained pianist and vocalist Greta Salpeter and rock guitarist Bob Morris met while they were in middle school and high school, respectively, and combined their talents to create the pop/rock balance of The Hush Sound. After releasing its debut album So Sudden, in 2005 the band earned industry recognition, signed a deal with Decaydance Records and found its first record receiving time on the radio waves. The Hush Sound released two more successful albums before announcing a hiatus in 2009 that would last for three years until the band announced a number of tour dates in 2012.
