Harold Pinter's The Homecoming centers around the return of eldest brother, Teddy, and his wife, Ruth. After living in the United States for several years they return to his North London family home where the men of the family escalate into psychological rivalry while trying to impress Ruth. The two-act play was first produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1965 and has been re-produced for film and many stages including the Broadway production which won the Tony Award for "Best Play" in 1967.
