FK Liepāja is a football club that competes in the Virslīga, the top-tier football competition of Latvia. The club was founded in 2014 and continued the legacy left behind by the FK Liepājas Metalurgs. The club did not spend any time in establishing itself as a true competitor in the game and managed to win the Virslīga title in 2015. The city of Liepāja set in western Latvia is the home of this club and the Daugava Stadium is its home ground.
