The Gift is a Portuguese alternative rock band that was formed in 1994. Playing a high number of shows during its formative years, The Gift was able to solidify its characteristic sound that blends together elements of new wave, electronica and rock. The group would release its debut album, Vinyl, in 1998 and since then the group has continued to release albums at a regular rate in addition to touring consistently.
