The Dreadnoughts is a Vancouver-based folk-punk band that was formed in 2007. Blending a number of European folk styles with contemporary street punk, the group has managed to build a unique sonic aesthetic for itself. Though The Dreadnoughts announced an indefinite hiatus in 2011, the band reconvened in 2014 and has since resumed playing shows and releasing new music.
