The Corin Tucker Band is the solo project of Portland-based singer/songwriter Corin Tucker. After releasing 11 albums with her punk rock band Sleater-Kinney, Tucker announced in 2010 that she would be releasing solo material and dropped The Corin Tucker Band's debut album 1,000 Years. The indie rock record was met with positive reception and The Corin Tucker Band immediately embarked on a tour of the US coasts.
