About
The Cookers is an all-star jazz ensemble composed of renowned bandleaders and soloists. Together saxophonist Billy Harper, alto saxophonist Craig Handy, trumpeters Eddie Henderson and David Weiss, bassist Cecil McBee, pianist George Cables and drummer Billy Hart make up the world-class super group. From its 2010 debut album Warriors, to its fourth studio effort, 2012's Believe, The Cookers continue to redefine the standard for contemporary jazz music.
