The Lincoln Saltdogs is a professional baseball team based out of Lincoln, Nebraska that competes in the Central Division of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. Founded in 2001, the Saltdogs won its first division title in 2006 and its first league title in 2009, helping the team become known as one of the more difficult teams in the league to beat.
