The Clarks is an alternative rock band that was formed in the mid-1980s when its members were attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. With a guitar-centric garage sound, the band released its debut album I'll Tell You What Man..., in 1988 and gained a quick local following around the Pittsburgh area. Though the band never rose to international recognition, it has maintained a cult following in Western Pennsylvania with subsequent releases such as the 1991 eponymous effort and 2000's Let It Go. The Clarks continues to perform and release new material, including the 2009 LP, Restless Days.
