The Brains is a psychobilly band from Montreal, Quebec, that bridges rockabilly and horror punk. The band released its debut album, No Pain, No Brain, in 2005 and has since collected a dedicated following with its aggressive yet smooth sound. Offering nearly an album a year since the mid-2000s, The Brains dropped its sixth studio effort, The Monster Within, in 2013.
