Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Bridgend, England that was formed in 2001. During its formative years, the group would play a number of shows around the UK, polishing its sound and refining its approach before entering the studio to record its 2003 debut LP, Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation. Though the band's primary fan base resides in England, due to frequent overseas touring Funeral for a Friend has managed to build up a respectably large following in the US.
