About
Established in 1986, the Swift Current Broncos are a renowned junior ice hockey team that participates in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Playing out of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, the Broncos' home games are held at the multipurpose Credit Union iPlex. They have been crowned WHL champions on two occasions in 1989 and 1993 also have also been successful in lifting the Memorial Cup in 1989. Their NHL alumni include the likes of Blair Atcheynum, Bill Hogaboam and Craig Millar.
