Based in Cape Town, Stormers is a South African rugby union team that competes in the Super Rugby. Formed in 1997, the club uses the Newlands Stadium for its home fixtures. Despite never winning the Super Rugby crown, it has been a semi-finalist and has also won the South African Conference multiple times. Notable alumni include Jaque Fourie, Bryan Habana and Percy Montgomery.
