Korpiklaani is a Finnish folk metal band that was founded in 2003. The group blends a number of metal styles with traditional Scandinavian folk influences to create a unique sound that's well suited for Northern Europe's rich music scene. The group released its debut album, Hunka Lunka, in 1996 and since then the group has managed to consistently release LPs on a regular basis in addition to maintaining a fairly busy touring schedule.
