Stan Ridgeway is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from Barstow, California who is known for his eclectic, electronic-tinged avant-country material. Ridgeway released his debut LP, The Big Heat, in 1986, establishing himself as an individual who isn't afraid to take his characteristic sound into experimental and uncompromising territories. Though Ridgeway's career predominately centers around his solo music endeavors, he has also maintained a respectable composing career, scoring television programs and movies.
