Springfield Falcons

About

The Falcons hailed from the hockey haven of Springfield in Western New England. The squad played in the AHL's Eastern Conference Atlantic Division and since 2014, the franchise was the affiliate club of the Arizona Coyotes. The original club was established as the Springfield Indians in the defunct Canadian-American Hockey League and over the years it had many affiliations. Some teams in which the team has had affiliate stints include the Hartford Whalers, Edmonton Oilers, Winnepeg Jets and Tampa Bay Lightning.
