Sonya King

Sonya King is an American speaker, comedian and podcaster. Born in Selma, AL King grew up in San Diego, CA. Encouraged by her husband, she signed up for a local comedy contest and began her comedy journey. She started out performing at comedy clubs across the country, and also at colleges and corporate events. Over the course of her career, she has participated in and won competitions like the Carnival Cruise Comedy Competition. She has also appeared on TV shows like Good Morning America and The View. In addition to comedy, King has also worked as a voice-over artist, written for the radio and hosted her own podcast.
