Sleuth is a play written by Anthony Shaffer that initially premiered at New York City's Music Box Theatre in 1970. Set in a mansion in a remote section of England, the story revolves around a successful mystery writer and his wife's secret lover. The ensuing cat and mouse came pits the two against one another and sets off a chain of events that lets the audience attempt to determine where imagination begins and reality ends.
