Jem, born Jemma Griffiths, is a rock/new wave singer and songwriter from Wales. She has been performing since 2002, gaining notice in Los Angeles where she submitted a demo tape to a radio station that subsequently opened doors back in Europe. Soon after the release of her first single, her music was used in the soundtracks of television programs, such as The O.C., Desperate Housewives and many others.
