Along with Garth Brooks, Shania Twain emerged in the early 1990s as one of the most successful pop crossover acts in country music history. The Windsor, ON-born singer, whose hits include "Man! I Feel Like a Woman," "Come on Over" and "You're Still the One," has exhibited a mainstream-friendly appeal from the get-go, combining a pop vocal approach with a slick country rock backing. Come on Over, her 1997 album, became both the top-selling album of all-time released by a female artist and the overall top-selling country album as well. Twain continues to record and tour.
