About
Established in 1985, the Seattle Thunderbirds is a prominent junior ice hockey team that participates in the western conference of the Western Hockey League. Based out of Kent, Washington, most of their home games are held at the multipurpose ShoWare Center on West James Street. Guided by general manager Russ Farwell and head coach Matt O'Dette they secured the Ed Chynoweth Cup in the 2016-17 season by beating Regina 4-2. Key players include Blake Bargar, Philip Noah, and Sami Moilanen.
