About
Originally a vocalist, guitarist and percussionist for Canadian rock band, Great Big Sea, Sean McCann released his first solo album, Lullabies for Bloodshot Eyes in 2010, along with Kelly Russel and Craig Young. Together they formed Sean McCann & the Committed, a folk-rock group with southern and maritime influences. In 2011, the band released it's second album, Son of a Sailor, an assembly of personal narratives that follows Mccann's journey from musician to father.
