Scott Amendola is a Oakland, California-based drummer who is regarded as one of the leading jazz fusion drummers of his generation. After attending the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston, Amendola moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he rose to prominence in the 1990s by playing with musical luminaries like Charlie Hunter and Will Bernard. Though Amendola has led his own jazz bands over the years, he occasionally writes orchestral works that have been performed with the Oakland East Bay Symphony.
