L.A. Guns is a hard rock outfit from Los Angeles, California that has been performing in various incarnations since 1983. The band disbanded in 1985 as a result of merging with another band, Hollywood Rose - a merger that would go on to form Guns n' Roses. However, L.A. Guns did reform the same year under the direction of Tracii Guns, the original founder, and would go on to experience moderate success on the charts as well as with performances nationwide. Some cite the band's numerous line-up changes as being detrimental to the band reaching its potential as a mainstream success.
