The San Antonio Missions is a minor league baseball team based out of San Antonio, Texas that competes in the Pacific Coast League. Having been one of the original charter members of the Texas League in 1888, San Antonio lays claim to being one of the oldest baseball towns in the United States. Acting as a Triple-A affiliate to teams such as the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, the Seattle Mariners and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the franchise has a proven track record of producing quality players who go on to have successful careers in the majors.
