Ryan Truesdell is a jazz composer and arranger who has defined himself as a formidable talent, with a career dating back to 2004 as a as production assistant for Maria Schneider’s Grammy award-winning record, Concert in the Garden. Receiving acclaim for leading a band on the recording of Centennial: Newly Discovered Works of Gil Evans, in honor of Evans’ 100th birthday, Truesdell is regarded as one of the more accomplished and respected jazz composers of his generation.
