Romeo & Juliet is a Canadian electronic music duo made up of Hayfa Abichahine and producer Kai Fall. The two artists use their experiences from other projects, such as Fall's work as a jazz bassist and Abichahine's folk-pop act Hayfa Makes Music, to create Romeo & Juliet's lyrical and energetic dance music. Packed with 1980s styled bass lines, tribal beats, both reggae and jazz melodies as well as tales of sexuality and urban life, Romeo & Juliet's sound is exciting and noticeably intelligent electronic music that demonstrates masterful compositional and narrative sensibilities.
