Rodney Crowell is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Jacinto City, Texas who's known for his work primarily in the country music genre. Influenced early on by Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, Crowell would go on to craft a unique style for himself that blends together elements of country, folk and rock. Cowell released his debut album, Ain't Living Long Like This, in 1978 and since then he has kept active, touring, releasing additional albums and serving as side man in Emmylou Harris' Hot Band.
