Robert Schimmel

New York City native Robert Schimmel was a stand-up comedian who was known for his controversial and raunchy subject matter. After moving to Los Angeles he was invited to perform on Rodney Dangerfield's HBO Young Comedians Special, and began making a name for himself as a performer and writer. Though much of his material was focused on sexually driven situations and imaginary scenarios, Schimmel was also known to incorporate his own personal experiences into his acts, including the death of his first son.
