Hailing from the Bronx, Rob Sonic is a hip-hop artist who is known for his distinctive, alternative style. Honing his musical taste on classic rock, punk and golden age hip-hop, he owns a fearless sound that borrows everything from David Bowie to Public Enemy with the grit of New York City tying it all together. While he is famous for his work in both Sonic Sum and Hail Mary Mallon, he initially rose to attention as a solo rapper with the 2004 album, Telicatessen. He has since continued to drop new albums, like 2014's Alice in the Thunderdome, while expanding his reach into new audiences outside of the hip-hop community.
