About
The Riverboat Gamblers is a punk band based out of Austin, Texas. Founded in 1997, its members set itself apart by making a discernible style of hardcore punk, which contrasted with the popular emo and pop punk that all the rage at the time. Going on to make a name for itself on the live circuit for several years after its inception, The Riverboat Gamblers eventually entered the studio to record its well received, self titled 2001 debut album.
