The cadence of American trumpeter Rick Braun's playing is reminiscent of instrumentalists such as Miles Davis and Chet Baker, peppered with elements of smooth jazz. He entered the industry in the 1980s and released his debut album Intimate Secrets in 1992 and followed it up with Night Walk and Christmas Present. Apart from multiple number-one hits like Kisses in the Rain, RnR, All it Takes and more under his belt, he has also collaborated with greats like Rod Stewart, Tom Petty and Sade, among others.
