About
Richard Elliot is a Scottish saxophone player who got his start as a professional musician during the early 1980s when he played with the funk band Tower of Power. As his focus shifted toward a solo career, he released his debut album, Trolltown, in 1986, and captured an audience with remakes of popular songs, such as Percy Sledge's classic "When a Man Loves a Woman." Elliot has since maintained a rigorous recording schedule that had him releasing nearly an album a year during the 1990s and 2000s.
