Jazz fusion superband Return to Forever is considered one of the founding groups of the jazz fusion movement of the 1970s despite maintaining only two permanent members. A revolving door of talented jazz musicians, many have cemented their reputations by passing through Return to Forever. With each new member, the band's sound evolves a bit, and has progressed from Latin-oriented music to avant-garde jazz rock. Under the leadership of keyboardist and founding member Chick Corea, Return to Forever has changed the jazz scene forever.
