About
Ralph Alessi is a jazz composer and trumpeter who hails from San Rafael, CA. Known for his work with saxophonist Steve Coleman, he owns a growing discography of solo work, including his 2016 LP, Quiver. Alessi also serves as a faculty member of NYU and the New England Conservatory and is also the founder and director of the School for Improvisational Music.
