Phil Keaggy is a singer/songwriter and vocalist who has been creating contemporary Christian music since the 1970s. Recognized as one of the world's best finger-picking guitarists, he began playing music in the 1960s with a series of rock and roll acts and eventually began experimenting with drugs as the decade came to a close. After the death of his mother in 1970s, he became a Christian and released his debut solo album What a Day, in 1973. The record captured his signature sound that would go on to define his decades-long career. With over fifty albums in his catalog, Keaggy released his studio effort The Cover of Love, in 2012.
